Revolucion de Cuba

Summer 2015 may be drawing to a close, but things are about to get hotter than the sun in Leeds this autumn as Revolución de Cuba bursts onto the scene with its unique brand of Cuban cool.

Promising to mix the old school glamour vibe of the Buena Vista Social Club days of the 1930’s with a contemporary twist, Revolución de Cuba offers a relaxed daytime food & drink experience, turning into a Caribbean fiesta as the sun goes down to unleash live music, dancing and celebration!

Revellers can expect to enjoy the finest cocktails outside of Havana, expertly shaken up by a well-trained team of cantineros, as well as a mouth-watering menu of Cuban inspired cuisine and bar snacks.

Light Night

Are you ready Light Night? Tomorrow is Leeds’ 11th Light Night festival; and the city centre is set to dazzle with over 60 exciting art events at more than 35 locations.

For one night only, from 6pm to 11pm, the city will come alive with light projections, music, dance, film and street performance; as it celebrates the talent and diversity of the Leeds arts community. One of this year’s key events takes place on the South Bank in the form of Whale Song, sponsored by Leeds BID. This magical combination of light, sound and water, depicts a majestic whale surfacing from the waters of the River Aire!
