Leeds Indie Food is back and bringing a mouth-watering feast for the third year! This is when the city celebrates all things independent food and drink with a packed calendar of events for those who want to ‘Eat, Drink & Do’.

Enthusiastic Eaters will find plenty on their plate, from quirky outdoor supper clubs to vegan fine dining, plus street food feasts, cheese tastings and more besides.

Committed Drinkers will be treated to everything from wine fairs showing off the region’s finest merchants to latte art throw downs, with baristas competing to make the prettiest coffee.

Curious Do-ers have an array of food and drink culture on offer including events as diverse as critical documentary screenings, chocolate making workshops and family-focussed foodie art projects.



Millennium Square Summer Series



Millennium Square will come to life when the Summer Series returns with a jam packed schedule including; an exciting new range of classical events includes Opera North, outdoor cinema screenings, free music & street food, plus live performances from 70s soul sensations The Real Thing, Odyssey & Heatwave and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Astro & Mickey Virtue plus special guests. ITU Leeds 2016 - Dave Tyrell - British Triathlon

Lotherton Hall Food and Drink Festival - 2016 - Leeds Museums and Galleries

Lotherton Hall hosts its second Food & Drink Festival. Take your pick of delicious snacks, shop for local products and produce and sample the different drinks on offer. Virgin Trains East Coast


Virgin Trains will create a half hourly service between Leeds and London six days per week when its new timetable is introduced in May!

An additional 15 services will be scheduled on Saturdays between Leeds and the capital, resulting in a new half hourly service from Monday to Saturday inclusive.

Tattu Leeds


A second Manahatta has opened in the city, this time as a fantastic new addition to Greek Street.

Leeds will also soon welcome the modern Chinese restaurant; Tattu. Due to open in June on East Parade, Tattu delivers a modern dining experience in a stylish setting.

The UK’s first virtual reality-powered game experience will launch in Trinity Leeds on 22nd April. Tick Tock Unlock has created a multi-player entertainment attraction, merging virtual reality technology with physical sets and multisensory effects.
