Millennium Square Summer Series

 

Summer Series - Concerts at Millennium Square

This summer Millennium Square has teamed up with various partners and Heart Yorkshire to present a fantastic Summer Series of live outdoor concerts in a specially created arena.

The Square will come alive with music from all kinds of genres, starting with 10cc, hits from UB40’s Ali, Astro and Mickey, and one of the best ABBA tribute bands, Bjorn Again. There’s something for everyone; a special one-off evening with Alfie Boe, Leeds Ska, Mod and Punk Festival, Union J and Special Guests, The Magic of Motown and ending with Texas.

There will be a licensed bar, catering and toilet facilities on site so you can enjoy a full evening of fun!

A Very British Fashion

Tailored at Leeds City Museum

Explore fashion from the 18th century to today at Leeds City Museum’s upcoming exhibition, Tailored; celebrating the development of tailoring as a renowned British skill from Savile Row in London to the Leeds tailoring industry.

Highlights include a jacket worn by Ringo Starr, work by designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen and items which highlight the heritage of Leeds tailors such as Montague Burton. Leeds City Museum have even commissioned a bespoke suit by Kathryn Sargent, a Leeds-born Savile Row tailor, made from handwoven wool cloth designed by a young British textile designer.

The Coors Light Ice Bar has finally arrived in Leeds for a 12 week period, based at the Bierkeller Entertainment Complex on the Headrow.

Cool off this summer for just £5 per person which gains you a 30 minute ice bar session, a drink, and access to the mini curling game, shot luges, ice sculptures, the photo area and also your own private bar. Whilst in the Ice Bar guests are encouraged to share their experiences with the use of the hashtag #BECICEBAR.
