Hotels earn Michelin stars | New speakers for ttgluxury Seminar | Paws-up for dog-friendly hotels

Hi Blue, here's the latest from ttgluxury | @ttgmedia

Awards can raise mixed emotions – you're ecstatic when you win and, well, probably aggrieved if you don't. But it's fair to say that sometimes it's also genuinely "the taking part that counts", as simply being recognised for your hard work can also shine a halo on you and pitch you among strong company. This week, we have news of some completely different winners – some hotels who now have a Michelin star and some who have been given the paws-up by PetsPyjamas. Achieving these plaudits requires a lot of work and a huge amount of commitment from the teams at the hotels to ensure that all guests – be they four-legged or gourmand – are kept very happy. And in other awards news, we have now opened the floodgates for the country's best travel agents to tell us why they should be picked as one of TTG's Top 50. We look forward to hearing from you – and good luck!
