TTG's Top 50 | Accor taking over Fairmont and Raffles | New Gatwick-Hong Kong flights

ttgluxury | 10/12/2015 | View as web page | @ttgmedia

Season's greetings

We’re really excited to launch the search for Britain’s best travel agencies this week – so find out more how you can be a part of the process here. And don’t forget to join another process – the hunt for agents to come with ttgluxury to Sri Lanka in the spring. Small Luxury Hotels also wants to highlight great agents with its new Small Luxury Heroes recognition programme. Meanwhile in the world of hotels – following the Marriott-Starwood takeover, there’s more news of top-level hotel consolidation with Accor’s multi-billion acquisition of FRHI (Fairmont, Raffles and Swissotel). On a somewhat smaller scale – there’s plenty of news of openings across the luxury spectrum; from London to Laos.
