This post sits within the Regeneration Directorates Major Projects & Infrastructure team which has delivered over 20 new schools for the city including five under PFI contracts. You will add value through your depth of skills, knowledge and experience to an already well-established, vibrant project team. You will need to demonstrate experience in delivering a multi-project capital investment programme, be intellectually capable, possess good management and communication skills, be able to manage complexity and deliver project outcomes. Your ability to coordinate staff across a range of skills and to engage with internal and external stakeholders will be first class.

You will be expected to manage a small number of staff, lead capital projects and manage processes across a number of workstreams by assessing and mitigating risk as well as delivering key high-level reports and engaging stakeholders throughout the process (e.g. children and young people, school staff, regeneration partners, education advisors, health and social care partners etc). You must be able to work as part of a large virtual team responding well to focused group, task and detailed project work, leading to tightly managed and high achieving outcomes.

Shorlisting will take place week commencing 24th April 2017.
Interviews will be held week commencing 1st May 2017.
