Building Strong Teams and Strong Products

Jason Shen is a product manager at Etsy and previously co-founded a Y Combinator startup called Ridejoy. In this breakfast working session, he'll share what he's learned about building strong product teams, with an emphasis on building for native app platforms (iOS and Android). He'll chat about the importance of retrospectives and "heart-to-heart" conversations, share different ways to get useful feedback from users, talk about the value of prototypes, diagrams, and requirements, and share hard-earned lessons on the difference between building for web and mobile.
