The government has revealed a new Investigatory Powers Bill AKA “snoopers’ charter”. Privacy campaign groups are not happy.


In a nutshell; if passed into law the bill would expand the powers of the security services meaning they will be able to monitor every website you visit. Big brother is watching you.

It's been one hell of a week for protesters. Students marched across London protesting against tuition fees. Their call to action is make education free, all we have to do is replicate Germany and Norway.

Rememberance Day 2015


Sunday 8th November is Remembrance Sunday.

On Sunday and on Remembrance Day on 11th November, we remember those in the armed services who gave their lives in conflict. At SoR we’ll be paying our respects, but also think Remembrance Day is an opportunity to uncover the conflicts currently raging around the above.
