Many Nursery and Children’s Church Volunteers Needed
Our Pre-school department is growing!  In order to appropriately staff the Nursery and Children’s Church, we still need to add 1 new volunteer to the rotation before August 28th.  Please consider serving our young families by volunteering for this vital ministry once every six weeks.  To sign up, contact Erin Mangan at or fill out the Student Ministry Interest Form on the church website.

Beginning Aug. 21, children & youth should attend the Sunday School class for the grade they are entering in the fall.

We only need 3 more volunteers to add to the rotation (every 6 weeks) for Nursery and Children's Church! Our Pre-school department is growing and we need these 3 volunteers to step up before NEXT WEEK! Please consider volunteering for this vital ministry once every 6 weeks. --RGBC Youth Ministry Adult Volunteers: There will be a meeting THIS Sunday, August 21 from 5-7:45pm at KCA.
--Calling all youth and youth parents! Our 2016-17 Youth Kick-off event will be on Sunday, August 28 from 5-7:45pm at KCA. We hope to see you there!

Beginning on Sunday evening, September 11th, we are excited to offer a ten month training class called "Equipped to Counsel." This class seeks to equip and encourage followers of Christ to live and counsel the gospel of Jesus and His Word, specially to those living amidst suffering and the troubles of this life. If you are interested in taking this class or have questions, please notify Assoc. Pastor Jeremy Rhoton: Deadline to sign up is September 4.

A New Sermon Series on the book of James will begin on Sunday, September 11 and will run through November.

The Rhoton family will be arriving in MD the week of Aug. 21. Please consider providing a pantry item or two to help stock their cabinets! Items to consider for donation include basic pantry supplies such as sugar, flour, and cooking oil as well as cleaning & bathroom toiletries. This Sunday is the last day of collection. Contact Teri Spinnenweber if you have any questions.

Next Sunday, August 28 is the next pick-up day for food donated to the Mission. Bring your donations in and put them in the red shopping cart this Sunday.

As an outreach opportunity, we are offering free tickets to see the movie "Voiceless" on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7pm at the Lexington Exchange Movies 12. If you are certain you are able to attend and would like a ticket for yourself and maybe a neighbor or co-worker, please email the church office. We have 25 tickets to give away on a first come/first served basis.
