The elders (along with the search committee) will be officially announcing the candidate for Associate Pastor this Sunday, May 1.  A display board with information about the candidate will be in the Ministry Connection and a formal announcement made at the end of Sunday’s service.  The tentative schedule for presenting and calling the candidate will be as follows:
  • May 13-15 – Candidate and family to visit St. Mary’s County and RGBC…Candidate to preach on May 15 followed by a fellowship lunch with the congregation
  • May 22 – A called member’s meeting for the congregation to vote on the candidate
  • July 1 – Tentative start date (upon an affirmative vote of congregation)

The Men's Ministries of LBC & RGBC cordially invite all mothers to a brunch on Saturday, May 7 at 9am at Leonardtown Baptist Church. Registration can be found here or at the Ministry Connection. Childcare will be available.

Our next Membership Class will be on Sunday, May 22 from 5-8pm at KCA. This class is for anyone interested in membership at RGBC. Dinner and child care will be provided. Please register online.

Graduation Celebration will be held with LBC on June 5 at 6:30pm at Leonardtown Baptist. All are encouraged to attend this celebration of our RGBC seniors! A list of graduates will be available at the Ministry Connection. Gift bags will be displayed at the celebration if you would like to bless our graduates.

The annual offering for CareNet will begin on Sunday, May 8 (Mother's Day) and continue until June 19 (Father's Day). Start praying about and collecting your loose change now and pick up your baby bottle on May 8 to support the local ministry of CareNet.

The Guatemala medical missions trip will take place from May 19-23. RGBC Members preparing to attend this trip are:  Christian Utara (leader), Lisa Callicott, Sheni Mansfield and Katelynn Stringer.
