Help us save Louie from abuse

Dear ,

This is Louie, a seven-year-old Siamese cat who is in the ICU right now because of domestic violence - and he needs your help to survive.

Louie was locked in a room for three days with no food or water. By the time he was found, he'd developed hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver) and acute kidney failure. He's so jaundiced, his naturally blue eyes are neon green.

We've already pledged a down payment to get Louie's treatment started, and 24 hours later, his prognosis has improved. But Louie isn't out of the woods yet he'll need to stay in the ICU through the weekend, and his family can't afford the full cost of treatment. , will you help us save Louie?

Research clearly shows that offenders of domestic violence often have a pattern of abuse, control and manipulation involving all members of the household - including children and pets. We're doing everything we can to raise awareness and help victims of domestic violence escape with their pets, so no member of the family is left behind.

It's never okay to abuse a person or a pet. Please help us get Louie the treatment he needs so he can be safe and healthy, with his beloved family. If he could, we know Louie would say thank you.

With gratitude,
Nicole Forsyth
