We’re caring for hundreds of animals in Louisiana

Help the animals in Louisiana today

Dear ,

Right now, I'm on the ground in Louisiana - where, as you probably know, thousands of animals displaced by floods are in urgent crisis. I arrived Sunday night in Gonzales, Louisiana, to assist with the temporary shelter management of hundreds of animals displaced by the widespread flooding. Another RedRover Responders volunteer Team Leader is on her way.

National Animal Rescue and Sheltering Coalition (NARSC) received the request from Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) for shelter management support at the Lamar Dixon Shelter. As a NARSC partner, RedRover immediately answered the call.

For now, I'll be at the shelter helping to provide oversight and daily care for the animals, and RedRover will continue to do everything we can to support the rescue and shelter efforts.

Please make a donation to our Emergency Response Fund right now so that we can ensure the safety and care of animals in crisis.

Your gift helps us care for animals displaced by floods and other disasters.  We know how much your heart goes out to those in need - and as you can imagine, the animals affected by the Louisiana floods need all the help they can get right now.

, your generous support makes this vital work possible.
I want to thank you for being part of our critical work to help animals in crisis. I know that together, we can make a difference for the animals in Louisiana, and continue to respond when animals need us most. Please make your gift to our Emergency Response Fund for the animals today.
With gratitude,

Beth Gammie

Emergency Services Manager
