How to Be Inspired at the Crack of Dawn

Action Team: PETA's Action Team Helps You Speak Out for Animals and Get More Involved! With Your Help, We—and Animals—Are Winning.

PETA's Action Team

Hi Blue,

Every morning at 5:30 a.m., I wake up to a murder of crows engaged in discourse just 10 feet from my window. At first, I wanted to yell at them to go away and come back after I'd had my coffee. Instead, I shifted my thinking and thought how wonderful it must be to sit in a tree and chat with friends in the midst of the beauty of spring and all the blooming flowers.

Truthfully, I do still wish that they'd wait until at least 6 a.m., but now, instead of feeling bothered, I love to listen to them. It reminds me to appreciate everything I have and to renew my dedication to freedom for all. I'll take the early wake-up call for the team if you take up the baton and run with it. Here we go!

Brace Yourself: Look Who's Supporting SeaWorld Now

Orcas held captive at SeaWorld suffer from serious dental trauma as the result of gnawing on gates and on the sides of the tanks. Ironically, the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) plans to hold its conference there. Please urge the AAO to host its event elsewhere.

What if SeaWorld's New Commercial Told the Truth?

Speaking of SeaWorld, although it's good news that the company has decided to end its orca-breeding program, that's not enough. While its executives run around sporting an imaginary halo, we're calling their bluff. The water-prison guards are forgetting something very important: Orcas are still incarcerated! Share PETA's funny new parody video so that the public will see the truth through this murky victory.

Speak Out for Animals at a Festival Near You

Sunshine and warmer temperatures mean that festivals and street fairs are popping up everywhere. If you're interested in tabling for animals in your area, give us a holler at ATeam@peta.org. We'll hook you up with all the materials and guidance that you'll need. And check out PETA's video "Tabling in Five Easy Steps" for some do's and don'ts and to get inspired to have fun.

Moooove Your Friends This Earth Day

Honor the planet and animals on Earth Day (April 22) by hosting a Cowspiracy moovie party. We've got the deets laid out for you so that all you have to do is have your friends over and push "play." It's pretty awesome when getting some friends to watch a movie also helps animals, huh?

Get Inspired by Activists Just Like You

In February, we asked you to join the #FurChallenge movement and remind people that fur is dead. Have a look at some of the people who took action. It's inspiring!

With an attitude of gratitude (and in need of a nap),
