Members Area
Calling all members! Do you have a good news story you could include here? Do you want to celebrate an achievement, say thank you to a partner or funder, or perhaps raise awareness of a service you are offering? This is the space for you!

This editions news story actually goes to a non-member, but it is an important request so makes it anyway. NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit are currently consulting with Lancashire residents who have either accessed a mental health service, or have experience of a loved one accessing mental health services.

They are looking at how they can improve people's experiences of using mental health services and would like to understand what people think are the best ways of making sure people can easily;
  1. Get support before a mental health crisis occurs
  2. Get urgent help when a mental health crisis occurs
  3. Get good quality care when in crisis
  4. Stay well and avoid future crisis

They plan to host informal workshops to listen to your views on how you think people can get the best help for mental health problems and how you would like things to change. These views will then help to form plans to improve the mental health service experience in Lancashire.

If you have these experiences and would like to take part in the workshops, please contact the Support Unit on haveyoursay@lancashirecsu.nhs.uk or call 01772 214103.
