NHS treatments for overseas patients
This inquiry examined the effectiveness of the recovery of treatment costs for overseas patients who are eligible for chargeable care. The final report of the inquiry argues that health managers must take urgent action to recover more money from overseas patients and improve the mechanism by which costs are recouped. The report highlights the role of NHS England and CCGs in particular as having more to do in supporting cost recovery and it also urges the Department of Health to produce an action plan.

This report explores the health inequalities that LGBT+ people face in accessing mental health services and terms of mental ill health prevalence. It summarises key findings and makes recommendations to the Mayor of London to support the development of the mental health roadmap, currently being developed by the London Health Board. It also sets out further steps the Mayor could take to support better mental health and wellbeing for LGBT+ Londoners through his wider policy brief.
