Fueling your intuition

A very important message from a very sexy woman about attracting
loyal, fun, good women: >> Be respected & loved by a good woman

Hey Guys,

Intuition can be a funny thing.  Oftentimes it is just plain wrong,

but sometimes it can feel like you’re “mainlining the secret truth
of the universe,” to quote Rustin Cohle from True Detective
Season 1.

Intuition is really just a flash of realization based on prior

inputs to your brain and subconscious process. If you give it bad
inputs, you will get inaccurate intuition, but give it good inputs,
and your intuition will be right more often than not.

I’ve gotten to the point where I have pretty good intuition,

although it is certainly not accurate 100% of the time, and I never
make decisions based on intuition alone.  However, it can be
massively useful for providing insight, that can then be verified
or disproven.

I don’t have any remarkable secret to building intuition, nor am I

psychic or have a natural talent for it.  I simply read a LOT about
human nature, psychology, and history, giving my brain patterns to
look for.  Furthermore, I spend a lot of time in persuasive
interactions, actively using what I’ve learned, and that further
sharpens intuition due to prior experience.

Oftentimes I can see patterns between different books I’ve read

(for example, Field Marshal Eric Von Manstein’s Lost Victories and
Sean Naylor’s Not A Good Day to Die are eerily similar, even though
the events they describe are 60 years apart), and then those
patterns of behavior repeated in the human interactions I experience
and observe.

Also, I make it a point to see the world as it is, not as I wish it

would be.  Nothing clouds intuition like stubbornly held beliefs
because then your brain tries to fit the inputs into those beliefs,
and the output is very bad intuition.

Sadly, few people work on their intuition, much like they don’t

work on health and fitness, money-getting, and other skills.  They
let it lie fallow, and it barely functions.  Opportunities pass
them by because they can’t see them.

So, there is no magic about developing your intuition.  There is

no chant, no affirmations, no secret rituals, no mind altering drug
that triggers it.  There is reading the right books, studying the
right people, and interaction with a wide variety of people in the
real world.  This gives your brain a huge amount of data and
experience to draw on when it experiences a new input, leading to
good outputs (intuition) based on existing data.

Understand that no matter how well you develop your intuition, you

can never completely rely on it. When you have a realization, you
must confirm it, but the more you develop your intuition, the more
confirmations you will get…and that gives you a huge edge over
other men.
