National Healthy Schools Day Information Call

Reminder: National Healthy Schools Day 2016
Free Orientation Conference Call
February 29, at 4 PM EST!

Sponsored by Healthy Schools Network since 2002

National Healthy Schools Day 2016 is just a few short months away, and here at Healthy Schools Network, preparations are accelerating. 35 organizations have already signed on to be partners, including the Pennsylvania State Education Association, Beyond Pesticides, and Mom's Clean Air Force. National Healthy Schools Day, part of National Public Health Week, is a very important day for students, parents, and advocates to focus on improving the health of their schools and the children and personnel who spend around 180 days per year in school buildings.
Healthy Schools Day is an opportunity to educate communities, improve school environments, and celebrate past achievements by hosting local activities. Over the last 6 years, there have been over 350 events nationwide.

We hope to make the 14th annual National Healthy Schools Day the most successful ever and invite anyone and everyone to participate by hosting or attending an event.

Healthy Schools Network will be hosting an orientation call for new partners during the afternoon of February 29 to provide insight and share past experiences from partners who held events during previous years, and discuss plans for this year's National Healthy Schools Day.

With your help, we can make safe and healthy schools for all kids a reality.
