New business units under construction

A £2.5m project is underway to create 20 new employment units in the heart of Dorset.

Building work has started on the new units at the Dorset Enterprise Zone, Winfrith, which is already home to world leaders in marine, defence and advanced engineering, together with related supply industries.

The new units will provide a welcome jobs boost to the Purbeck area by offering local businesses an opportunity to grow.

Spring Clean
Councillors and District Council staff were out earlier in March collecting litter for the Great British Spring Clean
The team did the litter pick at Upton Wood and collected 8 full sacks of litter.   Several unusual items were collected, including a car bumper, although the team was pleased to note there was less litter compared with their collection in 2016.

Watch the team in action!
