Implementation of anti-advocacy clause paused

The Cabinet Office have announced that they are pausing the implementation of the anti-advocacy clause in new government grant agreements, intended to prevent money being spent on lobbying ministers. Bond and other charity bodies strongly criticised inclusion of the clause, arguing that charities have a vital role to play in campaigning for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged.
