It's Blood Cancer Awareness Month: how to get involved
September is here again and with it brings Blood Cancer Awarness Month. We know that not enough people know about blood cancer, so it's an important opportunity to raise awareness - and that's where we want to ask for your help.
This Blood Cancer Awareness Month we're running our 3 & 5 campaign. We're on a mission to make more people understand that blood cancer is the third biggest cancer killer in the UK - sadly claiming more lives each year than breast cancer or prostate cancer - and the fifth most common cancer.
We're asking you to help spread this important message during September. Find out how - and find out more blood cancer facts - on our website.
Make sure you've signed up to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to hear all the latest news during Blood Cancer Awareness Month.
Throughout the year, Bloodwise researchers publish findings from their work - that we've been able to fund thanks to your generous support. Find out more about the very latest published research on AML, childhood leukaemia and MGUS.
We're delighted to announce the launch of a new programme we're collaborating on with The Christie Hospital in Manchester amongst others. It aims to make blood cancer patients aware of clinical trials and the new treatments open to them.
There are some exciting new ways you can support our blood cancer research and vital patient services. Find out more about how you can give by scrapping your car, selling through eBay and recycling some unwanted goods!
