Join us in Helping Members like Roger on North Texas Giving Day
Each year, on the third Thursday of September, the people of North Texas are invited to do something wonderful. From 6 a.m. to midnight, anyone and everyone is invited to donate to the local non-profit of their choice. What's even better is that each non-profit is also eligible to receive matching donations, and this year, an anonymous donor has offered to match 50 cents for every dollar, up to $20,000 donated to Back on My Feet Dallas-Fort Worth.
A donation made to BoMF will help those experiencing homelessness engage in regular morning runs, and provide them with access to invaluable training, housing and employment resources once they have earned their way into the program. Since 2011, BoMF has helped nearly 600 Members find their way out of homelessness and into a home of their own. Members like Roger.
Roger, a veteran with a hearing impairment, began to struggle after he lost his mother and his wife. He was awarded disability back pay while in the Back on My Feet program. He now buys homes in Dallas, fixes them up and sells them at a low cost to veterans.
This year, we are asking you to stand alongside us by supporting Back on My Feet Dallas Fort-Worth by making a $25 contribution. Your matched gift will help BoMF Members gain a restored sense of self-worth, a renewed belief in their value, and most importantly, the tools to take the necessary steps forward towards self-sufficiency.
To obtain more information about our program, to learn more about our mission, or to find out about other ways to get involved, we encourage you to visit us at
On behalf of everyone in the Back on My Feet family, we value your contributions to Back on My Feet Dallas-Fort Worth and thank you for your future support.
