A New Partnership in the Golden State!

A Year in Review and Vision Ahead
Dear Friends,
In 2016, Back on My Feet celebrated thousands of successes nationwide. We served a record number of members and achieved double digit growth in each of our primary goal areas: training, employment and housing. Our employment placements saw an outstanding 25% increase from 2015 to 2016. We continued to bolster our Alumni program, implementing a standardized program nationwide, piloting professional career coaching and developing our new Cigna Health and Wellness Program. We're proud that 44% of our Alumni receive a raise within 6 months, and 83% are still employed after 15 months.
This year, Back on My Feet deepened our relationship with existing national corporate partners and added Cigna and Ernst and Young as new national partners. With increased support from national partners and new investment from local companies, we launched Back on My Feet San Francisco in November, Back on My Feet's 12th chapter! As we approach the end of the first quarter for 2017, we are continuing to grow our program. We are focusing on deepening our workforce development opportunities and expanding our services to homeless youth and more women and veterans. We are committed to our goal of serving 1000 members nationwide in 2017.
None of our work is possible without the help of our National Board, our corporate, non-profit and foundation partners and countless volunteers who embrace our members. To all those who support our members through volunteer hours, donations, employment and housing opportunities - you have our deepest gratitude.
We could not be more grateful for our staff, who work tirelessly to pave sustainable pathways out of homelessness for our members.
In 2016, Marriott CEO Arne Sorenson, Back on My Feet NYC's 2016 Bash Honoree, joined CEO Katy Sherratt and Back on My Feet NYC on a morning run.
And, finally, we want to thank our members, who inspire us on a daily basis. Our members earn everything they get - we simply show them the path to get there. I am honored to celebrate these accomplishments with all of our supporters, and I look forward to our continued work in 2017, transforming lives one mile at a time.

With Gratitude,
Katy Sherratt

Back on My Feet San Francisco Partners with Golden State Warriors
Back on My Feet announces a long-term partnership with the Golden State Warriors in cooperation with Accenture, a national partner of Back on My Feet. The new partnership will focus on the San Francisco Chapter of Back on My Feet and the importance of team and community. The Warriors will help to amplify and increase awareness for the great work that Back on My Feet is doing with merit-based benefits for BoMF members as they reach key milestones within the program, involvement with member mentor and coaching programs, and attendance at key events.
"We are thrilled to join forces with the Warriors and expand our partnership with Accenture", says Back on My Feet CEO Katy Sherratt. "Our program is a testament to the power of what being part of a team can do for individuals tackling homelessness. Having the support of the Warriors and Accenture in the Bay Area will help elevate awareness and enable Back on My Feet to have an even deeper impact within the San Francisco community."
*NEW* Recognizing Our Key Supporters
Back on My Feet is deeply for grateful for all individuals whose outstanding generosity demonstrates the spirit of giving and commitment to our organization as we improve lives in our community.
