Member Take Over!

Member Take Over!
This month our Members reversed the roles and came up with their own race ideas!  Our all veterans team asked for a cadence run so we marched up and down the west side highway and got a taste of our own medicine as our Members led.  And then our Members asked for a Seinfeld Run because, who doesn't love Seinfeld?  So we celebrated Festivus by running 6 miles to see the Seinfeld sites on the Upper West Side.

This past month six Members moved out of their facilities and into independent housing!  We have had alumni come out and meet new Back on My Feet teams near their new homes and alumni travel from the Bronx to Alphabet City to run with their home team.  And Daniel from Bowery graduated from school and is now eligible to join a union.

In 2015 we have helped 56 Members find employment, 27 Members move into independent housing, and enroll 46 Members into education and job training courses! Together, every single one of you have helped us accomplish these incredible goals.  Whether you wake up and run with us, have attended an event, raced for Back on My Feet, or supported our chapter through your generous donations you have changed someone's life.
