Kindergarten Readiness Survey

 

This survey is from a local Treasure Valley non-profit organization.

This survey is only for families with children 5 years old or younger.

The goal of the survey is to learn more from families about getting children ready for kindergarten. Your answers will help the community better understand and improve resources for kindergarten readiness. 

This survey is anonymous and will only take about 5 minutes. 

After you complete the survey you will be eligible to register to win one of several prizes like a tablet computer, gift cards or a $100 Student 529 Savings account. Registering to win a prize is optional and only requires providing an email and/or phone number to contact if you win.

Meet Kristin Lohr, a biologist from US Fish and Wildlife. She will teach us about Monarch Butterflies, including their life cycle, where they go in the winter, and what they eat (hint: you’ll take home some milkweed seeds to plant)! She will explain how scientists tag them, and what citizen scientists of all ages can do to help, including how to report your own Monarch Butterfly sightings.

Come wearing your favorite jammies and bring a stuffed animal for some slumber party fun. Want your stuffed animal to stay the night? Join us for registration at 6:30 PM to get in on all the fun. How does a Stuffed Animal Slumber Party work, you ask? You'll get a name tag for you and your stuffed animal friend and then enjoy stories, a scavenger hunt, DIY dino soap, rice crispy treat decoration, and a few Disney/Pixar shorts before tucking your stuffed animal in for the night. Check Facebook the next day to see photos of the animal friends' nighttime sleepover fun!
