-Our performers will delight you with hilarious puppet antics! This month's puppet show is Jane and the Beanstalk.

         
New Program: Builders Corner
Wednesdays @ 6:30 p.m.

-Come use your creativity and imagination to see what you can build. Building materials may vary weekly from Magna-Tiles to marshmallows.

    

Teens! Nerdy Knits
Thursday January 28 @ 4:30 p.m.

-Make plush creatures from your favorite nerdy books or film. We'll teach you the basic stitches involved!

    
Winter Carnival
Thursday January 28 @ 6:30 p.m.

-Join us at the library for some midwinter cheer. We'll have games, activities, and snacks for the whole family!

     
Irish Dance Open House
Friday January 29 from 1 to 3 p.m.

- All ages are invited to come dance and learn about our upcoming 6-week dance program culminating in a special St. Patrick's Day Ceili!

   
Fit and Fall Proof
Tuesdays and Fridays @ 11:45 p.m.

-Developed in Idaho in 2004, Fit and Fall Proof™ (FFP) is an exercise-based fall prevention program for older adults in Idaho that focuses on functional exercises that reduce an older adults' risk of falling. Local volunteer leaders are trained to teach classes in their communities.

Friends Corner

QUILT RAFFLE!
The Friends of the Ada Community Libraries are raffling off a beautiful 84 x 72 inch quilt made by Nancy Rich. The pattern is called Tumbling Blocks and includes:

 

-10 months of work with more than 72,000 hand stitches

-The quilt construction is called English paper piecing and contains 638 blocks and 1,914 diamond shape pieces.

The Raffle will take place in 2016. Tickets are being sold at the Library Circulation desk for $1 each, no limit to how many are purchased!

The Tumbling Blocks quilt is currently hanging at the Lake Hazel Library, come look at this beautiful quilt!


Please note that the Friends Book Store is open during regular library hours. Feel free to go in and buy books during this time.  Children's books are $ .50 each and all other books, movies, and CD's are $1.00 each.  Please put your money in the gray metal box on the wall next to the door.
